About the place
One of the most famous treks in Santo Antao. The trek starts in the Cova crater area and descends into Paul Valley among mountains, terraces, and villages. The route takes about 4 hours and is of easy-to-medium difficulty, but includes many descents.
How to get there: Taxi or aluguer. If arriving by aluguer, it is important to make sure in advance that it is traveling via Cova and not via the coastal road, otherwise you will not reach the starting point of the trek.
