Cliffs Trail Starting Point (West)

About the place

Cruzinha–Ponta do Sol Trail: A trek along the cliffs of the northern coast, passing through small isolated villages with crazy ocean views. Takes about 5 hours and is of medium-hard difficulty, with quite a few ascents and descents. The trail goes both ways, so you can also start from Ponta do Sol (or Fontainhas if you want to shorten it a bit).

How to get there: Aluguer to Cruzinha (they leave in the morning until early afternoon from under the Shell gas station in Ribeira Grande. Note that they are not very frequent and you might need to take a taxi.
